How we ended up in Vienna?

The Story of Why We Chose Vienna?

So, one morning over coffee, Evie leans over to me and says, "Daddy, I want to go Europe!"

To which I replied, "Evie, sweetie, Europe is expensive. And besides, you are barely a year old, and you really can't talk in full sentences, let alone actually say much more than 'dadada' or hum when you eat things you like.

So Evie says to me, "you're right about the talking thing, i really can't talk yet. But I still want to go to Europe."

Mommy, who just so happened to be nearby baking a Sachertorte that morning, overheard our conversation. "Great idea, Evie, what do you think about Vienna?" A sachertorte, by the way, is a famous Viennese chocolate cake, created by famous baker Franz Sacher, in Vienna in 1832. Adding, "I'd like to try the real thing (sachertorte), and besides, I can dance for a couple weeks at Impulstanz."

"Mommy, that sounds wonderful. There just so happens to be one of the largest ferris wheels in the world in Vienna, the world famous Prater. Ever since I was little, i've wanted to ride that wheel. Let's go!", replied the youngest Soriano.

And so it went. That day, we purchased our tickets, arranged an apartment, and Mommy registered for ImpulsTanz, the world famous international dance festival that happens once a year in Vienna.
